In my case I diagnosed that my left rear door lock actuator was broken. Worn door locks tumblers can cause the lock not to work.
Close the drivers door.

I have a 06 civic lx automatic and for some reason today when I tried to lock my doors with my remote there. Try this for your LX. Its what i used for my 8th gen civic but it should be universal for all Honda models.
My EXT has the door lock when it hits 9mph set from the dealer Program doors to unlock when you turn the car off. Close the drivers door. Put the shift lever in Park and turn the ignition into the On II position.

It sounds like the drivers multiplex unit is going out but there are three fuses that need to be checked before. Here is a guide to help test the fuses with the fuse locations and the door lock wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works and which fuses to check. If these fuses are good you most likely have a bad multiplex control unit I have replaced several of them the radio and the remote door locks feed through this unit.

The 2005 Honda Accord has 4 problems reported for door lock accuators malfunctioning.
Average repair cost is 470 at 73000 miles. Actuator is inside door located next to door lock. Control unit is located inside driver door panel.
Wire from control unit is linked to driver side rear door so not likely to be the issue as that door is working. You need to test for power supplyoperation of door actuator to know if it is a wiring issue.
